Josh Beckett, Adrian Gonzalez and Nick Punto smiling for the first time in weeks.
Straight from Nick Punto’s official twitter page is a picture, tweeted about an hour ago, with the words, “#dodgers doing it first class!”. While the deal (Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto to the Dodgers in exchange for James Loney and a group of prospects: Rubby De La Rosa, Allen Webster, Ivan De Jesus, and Jerry Sands) has not yet been finalized, it’s safe to assume that it is virtually done… especially if Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, and Nick Punto are all on a first-class flight to Los Angeles.
On a lighter note, look at that smile on Josh Beckett’s face! When’s the last time we’ve seen Josh Beckett smile like that?!
